City Living
This accommodation is offered in seven main locations, close to the university campus and the city centre. These are: Nixon Court, Freemen's Common Houses, Opal Court, Salisbury Houses, Mary Gee, The Grange and Walnut Street. All are conveniently located for public transport, shops, pubs and restaurants.
Nixon Court
Nixon Court is extremely popular with all students, due to it's convenient location. There are 707 rooms at the Site, which is divided into five blocks.
The rooms in Blocks A and B are allocated to postgraduate and final year undergraduate students. All the bedrooms have a washbasin and flats can be for male or female students only or may be mixed.
Freemen's Common Houses
Conveniently situated only 250 metres from the main University campus, Freemen’s Common Houses are a popular choice for returning students and new international students. The Site is also close to Freemen’s Park which has a cinema, supermarket and restaurants.
Opal Court
Opal Court is a private development where the University is responsible for administering room allocations, rent collection and welfare support. Opal themselves, not the University, are responsible for the management of the building including security.
Salisbury Houses
The properties which form Salisbury Houses are approximately 750 metres from the main campus and adjacent to Victoria Park. The properties are all converted houses accommodating between 10 and 27 students in each.
Mary Gee
The Mary Gee Houses are approximately 2km from the main campus.
The Grange
Walnut Street
